Free headband pattern

Having hair in your face can be so annoying, so designed this free headband pattern.It is great for keeping your hair back without having to tie it up.  This pattern knits up quickly and is easy to make.

What can you use this pattern for?

Headband

Measurements:

5cm wide

50cm circumfrence

You will need:

1x 50 gram ball of dark brown yarn

1x 50 gram ball of brown yarn

5mm needles

Yarn needle

Seed stitch on an odd number of stitches:

Row 1: K1, P1 repeat

Row 2: K1, P1 repeat

Pattern:

Holding the yarn double cast on 17sts

Moss stitch until 50cm long

Cast off

Fold in half lenghtwise and stitch the cast on edge to the cast off together.

Here is the headband I first made when I designed this pattern about 4 years ago, I made it and decided to give it away to charity.  I wish I had a better photo of it though.
