Knitted zebra beanie

Picture of knitted zebra beanie

I love knitting custom beanies, this one is a cute knitted zebra beanie, I made for a customer's little boy who loves zebra's and the zoo. I had so much fun designing this for him!

I love knitting beanies especially custom knitted beanies!  This was one of the ones I recently made for a little boy, and since his favourite zoo animal is a zebra he wanted a stripy beanie that looked like a zebra.

I realized after taking this photo of the custom knitted zebra beanie that something was missing - the mouth and nostrils - I don't know how I could have forgotten them.  No I didn't forget the mane of the zebra as the little boy was under 3 years old and his mummy said he would pull it all out so wanted it without a mane.  The knitted zebra beanie looks a lot better now that the mouth and nostrils are done.

The eyes of the zebra have a dark brown around them to make them stand out, it was a bit hard to get a photo of them but you can just see them.

The back of the knitted zebra beanie, the ears I made a little bit off rather than trying to make them look perfect. Why? well because when you look at photos of zebra's they aren't perfect with how they are placed.

This custom Knitted zebra beanie is ready for him to go and play zebras or zoo along with his collection of stuffed zoo animals. The little boy loved his beanie and had fun playing zebras and jungle in the garden.

If you'd like a custom knitted beanie please contact us, I can make baby-adult beanies. Yes adults can wear them too my fave I've designed was a panda beanie for a gamer.
