Event: Knit In Public Day 2018

Knit in public day where people from all around the world get together and knit for a great cause to help others.  Each Knit in public (KIP) is hosted by a volunteer or a group of volunteers.  Each KIP is held in different places and countries.

When am I hosting a KIP (Knit In Public) day event?


Date: Saturday 9th June

Time: 11am-1pm

Place: Wellsford Library, Auckland, New Zealand

What: We are going to knit and natter.

We are knitting: Microprem/Angel baby wraps for SANDS New Zealand, though you can bring your own knitting project if you wish. 

Provided: There will be materials supplied you can use. Tea and coffee is also supplied along with something to eat.  

Please bring along: your needles, crochet hooks and yarn or use the materials we supply.

Backup plan: Inside so no back up plan

Are there bathrooms nearby? Yes, free

Is this KIP exclusive to knitting? No :-)
