Any suggestion on how what stitches to use with the stamen stitch on the perimeter of an Afghan? Thanks, Sue
Hi Sue,
There is quite a few stitches that would look nice, moss stitch, seed stitch, stocking stitch, grating stitch, elm gain, garter ridge stitch and seed stitch simple. All of these use knit and purl stitches only except for elm grain which also uses yfd (yarn forward). You can find all of these stitches on the what's that stitch page https://cozywoodlandcottageknits.blogspot.com/p/whats-that-stitch.html and how to do a yfd (yarn forward) you can find here: https://cozywoodlandcottageknits.blogspot.com/2018/06/how-to-do-yarn-foward-yfd-in-5-easy.html If you have any questions please ask :-)
Happy Knitting,
Arjaye
