To do ant egg stitch you only need to know how to:
- Knit
- Purl
- Slip a stitch

K - knit
P - purl
Sl 2 - slip 2 stitches
Purlwise - means to pick up the stitch as if you are going to purl it.

To do ant egg stitch
Cast on multiples of 4Row 1: *K2, sl 2 purlwise, repeat from*
Row 2: *P2, K2, repeat from*
Row 3: *Sl 2, K2, repeat from
Row 4: *K2, P2, repeat from*
Repeat these four rows
Please note I mucked up the middle section of mine I think I miss counted my rows, I realized after I casted off. I could have unpicked it and done it perfectly but everyone makes mistakes in their knitting from time to time and I've decided i'm going to embrace mine. For those you who are beginner knitters you will make your fair share of mistakes too, it's normal and instead of stressing or being upset you messed it up.
