Arjaye-Rose: Hi Emmy thanks for coming to chat and have a tea party today and sharing more about yourself.
Emmy: I’m so glad to be here chatting to you.
Arjaye-Rose: There’s been a few questions submitted to ask you during our interview along with a few I think readers might find interesting.
Emmy: Cool
Arjaye-Rose: First question, where do you live?
Emmy: The Court of Fallen Leaves or the Autumn Court, on an orchard with my Mammy and Grandpa well he’s everyone’s grandpa.
Arjaye-Rose: That sounds interesting, what is your favourite tree in the orchard?
Emmy: Apples I love them straight off the tree but I’m not allowed to eat too many at once. I did once and got a tummy ache it wasn’t nice.
Arjaye-Rose: Oh dear that doesn’t sound too good at all. Where are your family originally from, if they aren’t from the Autumn Court?
Emmy: The Pansy Court which is also called the Spring Court. It’s quite nice there, but I don’t have family there it’s just us (meaning her Mammy and siblings).

Arjaye-Rose: The Pansy Court is quite a beautiful place. What do you love the most about the Pansy Court?
Emmy: I love the flowers, everyone has such beautiful gardens. The entrance and path is pretty too it’s got pansies on both sides. When i’m there I like to pick some and put them in a jar.
Arjaye-Rose: Cool pansies are one of my favourite flowers too. How many siblings do you have?
Emmy: I have three brothers, Lee is 5 years old and I have twin brothers Reece and Derek they are 2 years old.
Arjaye-Rose: That’s really good you have some siblings to play with. Do you have any pets?
Emmy:A dog his name is Patches he’s a boxer and so cute!!! I want another dog but Mammy said not yet.
Arjaye-Rose: Aw i’m sure your Mammy will get you one when the time is right. What is your favourite thing to play?
Emmy: I love to play with my dolls, they are my babies.

Arjaye-Rose: I loved playing dolls as a child too. What games do you like to play with your brothers?
Emmy: We play lots. Tag, hide and seek, freeze when the person whose it turns around, in our tree house Grandpa Barry and Ethan built.
Arjaye-Rose: That sounds so nice, who is Ethan?
Emmy: He’s the man that owns the toy store across from Mammys shop. He’s friends with Mammy and Grandpa sometimes works with him too. Ethan makes wooden toys and sells them.
Arjaye-Rose: Wow he must be able to make some really nice toys. How has your life changed since becoming an honorary princess?
Emmy: It hasn’t changed too much, I did get a lot of request a for things from the children for events. I help with ideas for the children's events in the community and we have an afternoon tea party together.
Arjaye-Rose: The tea party sounds like lots of fun. Do you struggle with your jobs you have now?
Emmy: I did, I got upset cause I couldn’t remember all of the childrens requests. Fern kindly made a box for suggestions with signs that say what the event is so now it’s easier to keep track. Fern helps and we usually pick what has the most votes.

Arjaye-Rose: I’m glad you have help with them. Will you do more in court as you get older?
Emmy: yes eventually.
Arjaye-Rose: That sounds good. Do you like what you do at court and would you want to do more?
Emmy: I love it and have so much fun! No no I like baking with Fern and playing with my friends. I don’t have much things to do since Fern helps me with my jobs which makes in more fun. We have tea together and cake.
Arjaye-Rose: That sounds like fun. What is your favourite food to eat at the Court tea parties?
Emmy: Laughing. That’s so hard all the food is really good. I love the Louise cake, chocolate cookies and ginger cake. The cheese pinwheel scones are pretty good too.
Arjaye-Rose: Louise cake is the best! This next question is a bit of an unusal one, if you were a colour what colour or would you be?
It’s okay if you’d like to pick more than one colour.
Emmy: That’s such a funny question laughing um sorry I think maybe my favourite colours green, pink and red.

Emmy: Our tree house, Fern’s house and the forest.
Arjaye-Rose: They sound like nice places to go and visit and to play. What is your favourite part of Autumn?
Emmy: Jumping in the leaves with my friends and throwing leaves. I really enjoy the explorers camping trips together. We have one before it gets too cold and our community gatherings for autumn there is three of them.
Arjaye-Rose: That sounds so lovely and really good that you enjoy autumn so much. What are the three gatherings?
Emmy: 1. Autumns renewal where we have dinner, play and toast mellows to celebrate the start of winter. 2. Cozy gathering where we celebrate together with the Spring Court and have a big dinner together and exchange cookies. 3. The end of Autumn before the freeze where the women gather for knitting and tea while the men gather and celebrate the harvest, hunting and fishing season.
