Autumn leaves chunky scarf

Autumn leaves is a super chunky scarf knitted on 10mm needles, suitable for beginner knitters or knitters looking for a quick and easy project. The end of summer brings autumn, the cool wind blowing and the leaves turning shades of red, yellow, orange and brown. This is one of the beautiful things about autumn along with the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet. It reminds me that summer has once again come to an end.

Pattern Story


The end of summer brings autumn, the cool wind blowing and the leaves turning shades of red, yellow, orange and brown. This is one of the beautiful things about autumn along with the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet. It reminds me that summer has once again come to an end.

As you go about your day today remember to love the Lord with all your heart and soul remember to love the Lord with all your heart and soul and serve him with all your heart and soul too. If you do so the Lord promises that He will send rain for your land at the right time. Autumn rain and spring rain so that you can gather your grain, wine and oil.

This chunky knitted scarf is perfect for anyone who is just learning how to knit or any knitter looking for a quick and easy project.  May you stop to take a look at the beauty of the autumn leaves and admire the leaves or like me go and jump in a pile of leaves, cause why not!

Description

An easy to knit garter stitch scarf that makes a great first project for a beginner knitter or a quick and easy project.  Knitted with 10mm needles and super chunky yarn this scarf will knit up quickly. It is perfect for a cool autumn day and a cold winter's day.

Accessibility 

The pattern is low vision accessible (LVA), screen reader (SR), and accessible for the print challenged (PPC).  The pattern has been written in Arial 28pt font, with bold for the headings with no italics used. All images are in black and white with image descriptions for each. The free scripture card has been turned into a free printable wall art with black font on a white background. Please note this is listed separately for accessibility and is not available on love crafts as they, unfortunately, won't let me add these as separate versions, and combining them in one pdf file is not accessible. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The knitting pattern is suitable for: beginners
Yarn weight: Super Chunky/14 Ply
Yarn used: King Cole Big Value Super Chunky 100% acrylic, 90metres/81yards (sample uses 2 balls).
Yarn substitution: Any Super Chunky /14Ply yarn 
Yardage: 180metres/162yards 
File type: PDF fromat
Needles: 10mm 
Gauge: Gauge is not crucial to this project, but varying gauges will affect how many meters of yarn you use and the final measurements.
