I switched to a zero waste lifestyle last year, where we are trying to eliminate as much waste as possible. When our plastic peg bag started cracking and splitting I needed to find one to replace it. I didn’t want to get another plastic peg bag as it didn’t last that long and I couldn’t find one that wasn't plastic. After flicking through knitting patterns I found one I loved and was big enough to fit all of the pegs in.
Please Note
I thought id just let you know this is not a sponsored post, I am not an affiliate of Love knitting, Spotlight, the Book Depository, Debbie Bliss or the company that published her book. I do not receive any money or anything for free by putting the links here. I have asked the companies if it is ok to put the link here. I just love Debbie Bliss's knitting patterns along with the yarn and fabric, and I used want you to be able to find them too if you'd like to knit a peg bag for yourself. The pattern book I used is Home by Debbie Bliss from the book depository, I bought the from love knitting and fabric I bought from spotlight.Start of image description: A photo of a knitted grey peg bag hanging up and a white rectangle with the words "Knitting journal". It look less than an hour to line and stitch up, I wish I had finished my knitted peg bag sooner and taken photos for you before it was lined and stitched up. I love how it turned out and I am planning on making another one as a gift for a friend.
Thank you for visiting my knitting Journal!
