Flower knitting pattern

- Size 4 1/2mm needles
- About 20grams of yarn in the colour you would your flower and black or brown to embroider on the finishing touches.
You will need to know how to:
- Knit
- Knit 2 together (K2tog)
Abbreviations:
- k2tog - Knit 2 stitches together
- sts - Stitches
Pattern:
Cast on 8 stitchesRow 1-6 Knit
Row 7: K2tog, knit to last 2sts, K2tog
Row 8-10: Knit
Row 11: K2tog, knit to last 2sts, K2tog
Row 12-14: Knit
Leave stitches on needle but cut yarn and tie.
Make another 3 petals (4 in total)
When finished all 4 petal thread the yarn through each stitch and tie in the middle to secure. Don't worry if it looks a bit funny.
Thread ends in from the petals the yarn from casting on and the yarn from tying and cutting the yarn when finished each petal. Thread the bits of yarn in through the stitches on the wrong side.
The flower should look like the one below when finished:
Stitch up the sides of the petal row about 3 rows as shown below:
The petals and flowers should start looking a bit more like a flower.
Add a button to the center and thread end in. Embroider on the bits in brown on to the flower, these make it pop a bit more and make it a bit more life like.
