I know most knitters love to knit for a good cause and help others when they can. I wrote the post about the KIP (Knit In Public) day event I'm holding next month. Yay, I can't wait! Then I felt sad as most for you aren't in Auckland, New Zealand. I wanted you to know how you could join one nearby or host your own since I don't want you to miss out on my favourite event.

What is knit in public day?
Knit in public day is where people from all around the world get together and knit for a great cause to help others. Each KIP is hosted by a volunteer or a group of volunteers. Each KIP is held in different places and countries. It is run by Astrid, who does all of the website updates, press, publicity etc either by herself or with help of friends. Which is such a huge job and a lot of organizing to get everything done and it running so smoothly.
