I love cozy knits, what is your favourite cozy knit? I have a few favourites, but todays post of cozy knitted slippers is one of my favourites. I love having warm toasty feet especially at this time of year when the weather is getting cooler. These are easy knit slippers for beginners and a nice quick and easy knit for more experienced knitters, I knitted a bunch of them. Why? Well they make great gifts and I think add a bit of coziness and who doesn't like cozy knits especially for winter.

About the project
I hate winter and the cooler weather but I love knitting chunky knits and in aran yarns for gifts for friends and family. I love putting on my knitted house slippers and wear them daily during winter usually with my socks because I get so cold. The hand knitted slippers for a friends baby daughter, two pairs of children's slippers for a friends child and another pair for my friend in her favourite colour. I think these would make a great gift or project for anyone for winter or a great cozy gift.
Sometimes I like to add animal heads to the front of easy knit slippers, I either use the head for little soft toys or find baby bootie patterns with them on it. I love how they look in variegated yarn, it is always interesting to knit with this yarn - you never know what kind of pattern you will get.
I made a two pairs of children's slippers using Janis Franks pattern How to knit a pair of slippers and I love how these turned out. The children said these are really comfortable on and now I want a pair for myself too laughs.

Well that finished part of a few projects on my to do list and got rid of number 7 on my to list - a knitted slipper which I had forgotten I had started and I could not remember when I started knitting them. Here is another pair I started knitting and I thought I would have just enough yarn to finish them, four rows short of finishing I ran out of yarn oops.
